Recreational Activities

Ocean Shores has been chosen as a refreshing getaway location for the 2008 Fish Health Section Workshop. It is a 6,000 acre peninsula at the mouth of Grays Harbor, the only deep water port on the Pacific coast north of San Francisco. Enjoy strolling along the wide open sandy beaches where various shorebirds can be seen, take time to fly a kite or take advantage of the local activities. The Ocean Shores North Jetty is a popular site with crashing waves, and terrific views of the shipping channel.
